Ten unreleased tracks before Christmas...
A Michael Jackson album featuring 10 previously unreleased tracks will be released in November.
The as-yet-untitled LP will include songs that Michael recorded with
Will.I.Am in 2006, as well as several tracks recorded in the eighties that
didn’t make the final cut for Bad.
Jackson’s former manager, Frank DiLeo, told Rolling Stone there are over 100
completed tracks in the vault, including collaborations with Ne-Yo and Akon, and
dozens of potential hits from the eighties when the star was at his peak. "There
are a couple of songs we recorded for the Bad album that we had to cut that are
just sensational," he revealed.
Uber-producer Rodney Jerkins, who produced Jacko’s 2001 album Invincible, is
pulling the tracklisting together.
The LP is the first release in a 10-album, seven-year deal that the Jackson
estate signed with Sony BMG back in March. According to Rolling Stone, the $250
million deal is also likely to include a music video DVD collection, reissues of
all of Michael’s albums, a new greatest hits LP and even a Cirque du Soleil
show.
A Michael Jackson video game - a karaoke and dance simulator - is expected to hit stores before the end of the year.
Date: June 26, 2010 "Michael Jackson: The Experience"
Ubisoft's upcoming Michael Jackson game will be called Michael Jackson The Experience, and will launch in November 2010 on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, DS and PSP.
The game, which was shown for the first time today behind closed doors at a Ubisoft event in London, puts players "into the shoes of the King of Pop", letting players "take centre stage like Michael Jackson himself, and re-live some of his most iconic performances."
Michael Jackson The Experience features numerous songs from Jacko's back catalogue, including Beat It and Billie Jean, and will be compatible with PlayStation Move and Kinect. You guessed it, it's a dancing game similar to Ubi's super popular Just Dance.
The Kinect version uses similar technology to that seen in Ubi's Your Shape, using Kinect's 3D camera to project a 3D image of the player onto the stage.
The 360 version will also include microphone support, with auto-pitch technology correcting your singing, plus four player jump in/jump out gameplay, while the DS and PSP versions utilise what Ubisoft call "tap-on rhythm gameplay".
Michael Jackson: The Experience launches this November.

AFP - Twelve new photos of Michael Jackson taken in 1999 go under the hammer in Paris in December along with 700 contact sheets of the pop legend never before seen in public, auctioneers said Tuesday.
Auction house Pierre Berge & Associes said the photographs were taken in Paris in July 1999 by French photographer Arno Bani on a request from Jackson who had seen his work in the Sunday Times magazine, Style.
The pictures, which are to be published in October worldwide, were supposed to have illustrated his 2001 "Invincible" album but the record company finally used other shots for the album cover.
In the only photograph shown to reporters Tuesday, Jackson is wearing a shiny Yves Saint-Laurent dinner suit and has blue make-up on one eye.

Date: June 6, 2010 Full structure of Jackson's Last Will and Declaration of Trust
Michael Jackson stated his will and "declaration of trust" the structure of it sounds like after summary:
- The estate is first established in 1995 to transfer the ownership of MJ's assets (at that time MJ's children weren't beneficiaries) - It shows us that the estate planning started quite early.
- During his lifetime Michael made changes to the trust as he wanted , added assets etc. During his lifetime Micheal also got income from the assets included in the trust.
- Trust was also set to provide for Michael if he became physically or mentally incapacitated any time.
- Charities (determined in IRS code as for educational purposes, encouragement of art, prevention of cruelty against children or animals) getting 20% and the charities who will be getting money is going to be determined by Branca, McClain and Katherine Jackson. In the document it is also said that MJ's intent by leaving money to charities is " to benefit children". So most probably the committee (Branca , McClain and Katherine) will choose children charities. Trust also allows the estate to form a children's charity and give the money to the charity they have established.
- After charity share is deducted estate is to pay federal/state/ inheritance taxes.
- The distribution states is like this : If MJ had children they get 50% and his mother gets 50%. If he didn't have any children all of his estate would have gone to his mother. If he didn't have children and his mother didn't survive, his 6 cousins would get the money.
- Debbie is left out , just as in the will.
- Katherine is provided for her lifetime from the net income (the principal is kept). After her death her share goes back to MJ's kids and his grandkids. If none are alive , his 6 cousins become the beneficiaries.
- Until they are 21 the children are also getting shares from the net income. When 21 they can apply for their benefit - meaning when they are 21 they can request to get their full share (in other words get the money from the estate and the executors). If they do such a request they get 1/3 of the principal when they are 30, 1/2 of the principal when they are 35 and remainder of it when they are 40.
- If they die before getting their shares, their money goes to their kids (MJ's grandkids). If they don't have kids their shares goes to their brothers and sister equally.
- If the estate doesn't have enough net income to cover the living expenses of the beneficiaries, they can provide money to the beneficiaries from/through the principal.
- It also says that they can request and get additional money if they want to buy a house, for their education, marriage and start a business etc regardless of their age. (The executors duty is to make sure that the business they want to start is reasonably sound. After that the kids are not kept responsible if the business fails).
- Interesting tidbit: If none of the beneficiaries survive (KJ, MJ's kids and MJ's grandkids and his cousins and his cousins kids) -not really likely to happen - the estate goes to Michael's heirs by law. Meaning any living family member by order.
- Interesting provision : In the case of minor children executors can give money for the care of this children directly to them (and not to the guardian) if they choose. Also if the executors are giving the money to the guardian of the children they can request documents showing how the money is spent.
- Trust provisions are set to follow the laws.
- Simply put executors get the power to manage the estate - quite common. No special powers.
- and bombshell - if no executors remain to look after the estate (and they don't determine the next group of executors), NATIONSBANK - in other words BANK OF AMERICA is named as the executor of the estate.
- If a Bank is the executor of the estate, his children when they are adults (18) could change the bank that's the executor.
- About the fees of the executors it says "executors can pay themselves reasonable compensation without court order".
- Executors can also give accounting of what they do to the beneficiaries. And beneficiaries have the right to disagree with this accounting (earnings, spendings).

Date: April 30, 2010 "Cirque du Soleil" to develop Michael Jackson shows
Los Angeles – Two great forces in entertainment have combined with the announcement of an unprecedented arrangement between The Estate of Michael Jackson, represented by Executors John Branca and John McLain, and Cirque du Soleil for the creation, development, production and promotion of Michael Jackson projects, featuring touring and permanent shows, based on the music and songs of Michael Jackson. Special lifestyle projects, including a nightclub to open with the Las Vegas production, will also be developed.
The first of these projects will be an arena-touring show in which fans will experience the excitement of a Michael Jackson concert, expected to debut in late Fall 2011. That arena show is anticipated to enjoy an extended run in Las Vegas in conjunction with longtime Cirque du Soleil partner MGM MIRAGE. The Las Vegas permanent show, also in partnership with MGM MIRAGE, is expected to open in late 2012. MGM MIRAGE will announce the location and plans for the permanent theatrical venue at a later date.
Katherine Jackson, mother of Michael Jackson commented. "Our family is thrilled that Cirque du Soleil will pay tribute to my son in such an important way."
The Estate of Michael Jackson and Cirque du Soleil will each own 50 percent of each Michael Jackson project, sharing equally in the cost of creating, developing, building and producing the projects and in the profits from each project. The Estate of Michael Jackson will also receive royalty payments on various aspects of its intellectual property used in the Michael Jackson projects.
Date: April 08, 2010 Jackson's memoriabilia auction again
Julien's Auctions is to stage a major sale of Michael Jackson memorabilia in Las Vegas on June 25, including the star's custom-designed furniture. To build up the hype, auctioneers are organizing six exhibitions around the world, including one in Macao.
"It is very important to us to share Michael's things and his legacy with the people around the world who love him," Darren Julien, president of Julien's Auctions, told China.org.cn, "We have a great partner in Macao, in Ponte 16 who was willing to cover the expenses of bringing these items to China for the public and fans to see."
The Macao exhibition will be held at Ponte 16 from April 30 to May 9. Other exhibitions will take place in Ireland from March 16 to May 30, and in three locations in Japan, from May 20 to June 8. Finally a massive exhibition will be staged at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino Las Vegas from June 14 to June 24.
There will be over 250 lots for sale in the auction so there is plenty to go around. Julien said they have saved the best and most high profile memorabilia for the Ponte 16 exhibition while Ireland will house furniture that Michael Jackson ordered prior to his death.
In addition to the Colombostile collection commissioned by Michael Jackson, the auction will include more than 200 items from his life and career.
Some of the collection highlights include a signed "Beat It" Jacket, sunglasses the star wore on stage, and the military jacket he wore when he married Debbie Rowe.
Ponte 16 already owns 40 iconic items of memorabilia bought at auction last year in New York. The casino resort, half-owned by local gaming tycoon Stanley Ho, paid US$350,000 for Jackson's famous rhinestone glove.
"I am not sure if they will bid in the June auction but I think it will depend on what items are important to fans in China as to what they bid on," said Darren Julien. "Their goal is to build and preserve the legacy of Michael Jackson so they want to have one of the best collections in the world which I am sure they will in time."
Even though they don't need Jackson family's permission, Julien said the estate and family do know that this auction is taking place.
He said Michael Jackson means a lot to him personally and to Julien's Auctions, "It is our greatest desire to preserve and respect the legacy of Michael Jackson as he has always meant so much to us. In addition, our company would not be as famous as what it is if it were not for Michael Jackson."
Julien's Auctions collaborated with Jackson's then manager Dr. Tohme Tohme to clear out the singer's abandoned kingdom Neverland Ranch and planned to auction 2000 items from the property in April 2009, including the front gate. The auction house spent US$2 million organizing the sale but Jackson changed his mind at last minute and filed a lawsuit to halt the auction.
"I was deeply heartbroken as Michael was very important to us and to the world," Julien said of the singer's death, "There will never be anyone like him. We never had any problems with Michael Jackson. The lawsuit had nothing to do with him and was more of a result of others. Michael knew that we did nothing wrong and we knew that he was not the reason for the lawsuit."
Julien said Jackson had invited him to the opening of his London concerts. "I think he felt bad about what happened but I always knew he was not to blame for anything. The items we had were returned to Michael Jackson." But he declined to comment on Dr. Tohme Tohme, who was regarded as a controversial figure in Michael's life. It was Tohme who decided to dismantle Neverland and hold the auction. He then reportedly asked for the MJ memorabilia to be returned to him instead of to Jackson.
Darren Julien said he conservatively estimated the value of the items in their June auction at US$600,000 - US$800,000.
Jackson's estate recently signed a record-breaking $250 million deal with Sony Music Entertainment to retain distribution rights to his recordings until 2017 and release 10 posthumous projects over the next seven years.
Date: March 30, 2010 Jackson case on "Discovery" in "True Crime with Aphrodite Jones"
To anyone who wants to see more about MJ in a positive light: I have asked to do a 2-hour special on Michael Jackson, separate and apart from the hour that will air on TRUE CRIME. The TV Special will focus mainly on Michael, the man, and his life in secret isolation with his 3 children... there's a lot no one knows... and I can shine the light on MJ... I truly believe there are lessons to be learned from Michael's life that can teach us all about humility, patience, and grace, especially in the face of tremendous adversity.
I need your support, so Discovery will give me a chance to "let loose" with e new MJ special.
The MJ hour I did will air in April (end of April). Ican't wait to see your response to my giving JACKSON my full support, and showing the world he was "framed" and mistreated by a bad judicial system and a tireless media machine.
Date: March 17, 2010 Jackson estate signed deal for 250 millions of dollars
LOS ANGELES (AFP) – Sony and administrators for Michael Jackson's estate confirmed Tuesday they signed a 250-million-dollar deal that will include releasing new music the pop icon was working on before his death.
The landmark deal would give the entertainment giant distribution rights for all of Jackson's material until 2017, a source close to the matter told AFP, adding the deal would be worth about 250 million dollars.
Thanks to the agreement, which smashes all music industry records, Sony Music's Columbia Epic Label Group and Legacy Recordings would maintain their long-held rights to Jackson's catalog of music.
They would also score distribution of new products, including never before published song albums, with some of the music now due to be released in November.
The blockbuster deal involving as many as 10 new Jackson projects, or "musical items," will include computer video games as well as music and film releases, a source close to the matter said.
"It could be a DVD, a stage show, music video. The creative possibilities are very open," the source added.
Jackson, who had been with the Epic Label for three decades, died suddenly on June 25 at his rented mansion in Los Angeles after an overdose of powerful prescription drugs, as he was preparing to perform a series of comeback concerts in London.
In a controversial comment after his son's death, Joe Jackson said the pop star was "worth more dead than when he was alive." He may be proven right.
The King of Pop was the artist with the most record sales in the United States last year, with 8.3 million copies sold, nearly twice as much as the artist in the number two spot -- country-pop star Taylor Swift with 4.6 million album copies.
Since his death, Sony has sold some 31 million Jackson albums worldwide. The album to accompany the "This Is It" movie has sold five million copies, Sony said.
The posthumous concert movie, based on video of Jackson's rehearsals for the London concerts, has already grossed more than 250 million dollars worldwide.
"By all objective criteria, this agreement with Sony Music demonstrates the lasting power of Michael's music by exceeding all previous industry benchmarks," entertainment lawyer John Branca, one of the estate's executors, said in joint statement with Sony.
The closest comparable contracts would be rapper Jay-Z's 2008 accord with Live Nation worth 150 million dollars for recordings and concerts. Madonna secured a 10-year, 120-million dollar contract.
The deal would guarantee the late singer's heirs more important revenues then those of other dead stars, going a long way to easing the estimated 500 million dollars in debt Jackson left behind due to his lavish lifestyle.
Elvis Presley's heirs share between 50 and 60 million dollars each year from sales of music albums and other products.
A Los Angeles court has named Jackson's mother, Katherine Jackson, 79, the guardian of his three children, Prince Michael, 12, Paris, 11 and Prince Michael II, 7, as well as of his estate, which includes his Neverland ranch and rights he held to songs by The Beatles.
"We believe we have a partner in Sony that knows and appreciates Michael's artistry as well as the passion of his fans," said another estate administrator, John McClain.
Jackson's doctor Conrad Murray last month pleaded not guilty to involuntary manslaughter in connection with the sudden death, but has admitted administering the drugs to the singer.
In October, Forbes Magazine named Jackson as number three in its annual Top-Earning Dead Celebrities list, earning 90 million dollars in the months after his death.
Fashion legend Yves Saint Laurent topped the list with 350 million dollars in posthumous earnings, while Elvis Presley came just behind Jackson with 55 million dollars.

Singer Lenny Kravitz in "Lopez Tonight" show aired on TBS on Wendsday this week, said that the song "Another Day" "is coming out this year".

Date: February 09, 2010 Jackson's doctor plead "not guilty"
Dr. Conrad Murrey's charge is "INVOLUNTARY MANSLAUGHTER".
The involuntary manslaughter charge means that Murray caused Jackson's death by acting "without due caution and circumspection."
If convicted, Murray would face a maximum four-year prison sentence, according to prosecutors.
Jackson family members later reacted to what they saw in the courtroom
"Not enough," Jermaine Jackson said when asked what he thought of the charge.
"I don't like what happened," Joe Jackson said as he left the courthouse.
"Michael was murdered and although he died at the hands of Dr. Conrad Murray, I believe Dr. Murray was a part of a much larger plan," La Toya in statement said. "There are other individuals involved and I will not rest and I will continue to fight until all of the proper individuals are brought forth and justice is served." La Toya said.
"To me, he's just a fall guy," Jackson said. "There's other people, I think, involved with this whole thing. But I think that he's interrogated -- he would come clean and tell everything he knows."
He said Michael Jackson told his mother, as he was preparing for his comeback concerts in London, England, last year, that he thought he would be killed.
"He was afraid to even do all of these shows, because he was afraid that he wouldn't get a chance to finish all of the show," Joe Jackson said. "He couldn't do all those shows back-to-back. Even his kids say that he had told them that he would be murdered."
The judge refused to suspend Murray's medical license as a term of his bond, but he did order him not to use any anesthesia on patients.
Date: February 03, 2010 Jackson's doctor to surrender
Dr. Conrad Murray expects to surrender to Los Angeles authorities this week on charges relating to the death of Michael Jackson, his lawyer said Tuesday.
"Dr. Murray is more than ready to surrender and answer to any charges," attorney Ed Chernoff said.
Prosecutors have not announced any charges, however, and Murray has not been told how or where he should surrender, according to Miranda Sevcik, spokeswoman for Murray's legal team.
Murray traveled to Los Angeles from his home in Houston, Texas, last week in anticipation of possible charges, which he expects to be announced within 24 to 48 hours, Sevick said.

The most memorable moment of the 52nd annual Grammy Awards on Sunday may be the onstage appearance of Michael Jackson's two eldest children to accept their father's lifetime achievement award.
"We are proud to be here to accept this award on behalf of our father, Michael Jackson. First of all, we'd like to thank God, gor watching over us for these past seven months, and our grandma and grandpa, for their love and support. We'd also like to thank the fans, our father loved you so much, because you're always there for him. Our father was always concerned about the planet and humanity. Throughout his hard work and dedication, he's helped many charities and donated to all of them. Throught his songs, his message was simple - love. We will continue to spread his message and help the world. Thank you. We love you, daddy." With a voice that sounded more mature than his age of 12 years old, Prince Michael said.
Paris, 11, then spoke: "Daddy was supposed to be here, daddy was gonna perform this year. He could't perform last year. Thank you. We love you daddy."
Prince Michael and Paris, along with several cousins, wore black suits with red stripes on their pants, and red armbands.
The children appeared after a rousing performance of Michael Jackson's "Earth Song," with a recording of Jackson accompanied by live performances from Celine Dion, Usher, Carrie Underwood, Smokey Robinson and Jennifer Hudson.
